An Introduction to Shiva and Rudra

Abstract

The word Divya is derived from Dyutyarthakdiv, which means - the light or the shining In grammar, Acharya Panini used the meaning of Divya Metals in the sense of duality, play etc. In general, it means the god or god is taken. Acharya Yask has used metals such as Dyut, Da, Deep, Divu etc. for this word. Apart from this, they are also said to be immortal and are considered. The Vedas have also been considered in relation to Gods. It has been said in the Rig Veda that God had died in his early period or later he attained immortality, but the Vedas, the glory of Shiva in the Puranas and their form have been described as very pure and immortal deities.
