Status of Consumers in Indian Democracy

Abstract

The consumer's development is due to the nature of lane. This topic is related to nature, human, society and state. In the modern times, demand for consumer rights was introduced in America. It was supported by U.N. In India, Consumer Protection Act 1986 was brought in, which has been changed from time to time as per need. Analytical study of consumer rights has been done in this research paper. Consumer rights have been considered as subject of human rights. In the reason of the consumer's abuses, the 'fictitious profit area' and 'real profit sector' have been described. In addition to this, the person's tendency has been described. To overcome the problems of consumer abuse, talk about fear technology, poverty eradication, population control, proper education (ethics), religion and culture.
