Abstract
Yoga is a very important place in Indian thought. It is notable that in addition to Charvak Darshan in Indian ideology, all the philosophical sects accept the necessity of yoga-meditation for achieving self-realization or achieving salvation or salvation. Though the history of yoga-practice is very ancient in Indian tradition, yoga-related actions are found in the Upanishads, Mahabharata, Bhagwad Gita, Jain and Buddhist opinions, but firstly Maharishi Patanjali discussed the yoga as a composite philosophical doctrine. That is why it is also called 'Patanjhalog'. He gave the form of a vague tradition, which developed under the pressure of life and experience, form a legislation. In it there is a squeezing of ideas about austerity and deep thinking, which were then ambiguous and indefinitely present.
