Abstract

Presently, journalism is the most accessible and advanced means of communicating the modern era, national consciousness, intellectual awareness and widespread public sensation. Before independence, many synonyms for the word journalism in India, but later the word journalism remained in vogue. Nowadays, the word Schmiedesh is very popular for this. Media is also understood in two parts which are called electrically operated (Mbmjitvadpb Dmkandh) and printing related; Chhatpdj Dmkpandh. Media is accepted as an essential part of the fourth regime in democratic governance. Sanskrit Patrika magazine played an important role in the development of nationalism and national consciousness.
