Abstract

In the present article we have studied the thermal behaviour of GexSe50Te50-x (x = 10, 20, 30, 40) alloy, for different combinations with changing heating rate (α) have been studied on the theoretical background. The values of the glass transition temperature, Tg, the crystallization temperature, Tc, and the crystallization peak temperature Tp, were found varying with change in composition as well as heating rate. The glass transition energy Eg was also calculated. On the basis of determined parameters glass, forming ability of the present system has been discussed.
