Feature Extraction For Emotion Detection

Segmentation is the process of dividing an image into the multiple segments to simplify and or change the depiction of an image into something meaningful and easier to examine. This paper presents an approach to extract basic features of face to recognize human emotion. Facial features like eye aperture, mouth aperture, and the size of eyebrow constriction are calculated from the localized regions. Experimental results of proposed scheme for feature extraction are simple and robust, and with good accuracy.
