Abstract

Values ??and ethics present the right perspective of the development of any society or nation. It is not a property of one nation, one religion, one climate and one philosophy, it transcends all these fields so it is universal in character, as much as it is concerned with the welfare of human beings scattered across the globe. Socrates was right when he thought that 'knowledge is virtue'. All knowledge should end in the creation of virtues. Knowledge without virtues is not only useless to the society but also destructive to the society. There is no doubt that a values ??and moral based society requires some kind of 'spiritual healing' and this need can be met to a great extent through education.
