Abstract

Poverty has always been a burning issue in developing countries, and all efforts are being made by developing countries to eradicate this poverty through financial inclusion. Similarly, in India too, all efforts are being made by the Government of India to reach the poor and raise their standard of living through financial inclusion. In this research paper, we will study what efforts have been made by the Government of India to eradicate poverty through financial inclusion in India, and what have been their results so far. First of all we will know that what is financial inclusion? Financial inclusion means access to financial products conveniently, easily, at low cost to the poor people who are deprived of banking services so as to increase their standard of living and social status.
