Abstract

When the Muslim invaders invaded India, two cultures and ideologies met on this land, but in the beginning, these two ideologies, which are called Hindu and Islam, continued to fight each other. The caste system, which was considered immutable in the Hindu caste, had suffered a deep blow. Hindus were trying to protect their religion. On the other hand, the Muslim was ready to dominate the Indian society, thus the entire atmosphere was mutually conflicting. There was an increasing feeling of hatred among Hindus and Muslims. They looked at each other with hatred, there was no place left for humanity. Muslim rulers were promoting Islam and proselytizing by force of sword. At that time when there was an extremely chaotic atmosphere in India. Then the medieval saints made a successful attempt to remove the Hindu-Muslim enmity through their nectarine speech and compositions. Special emphasis was given on the conduct and satsangati. Emphasizing the truth, Kabirdas said that if your heart is true and you have done all your deeds inspired by the spirit of truth, then God will be pleased to give an account of your deeds. 1. Kabirdas says that if a person is introduced to the truth, he automatically develops a sense of hatred and aversion to the truth. Kabir also stressed on the purity of the mind. He said that the mind, which is fickle, should be diverted from its fickleness and focus on spirituality. It is only through the purity of the mind that one can move towards the Supreme. 3 He said that the development of man is only It is possible when that mind is pure. By this mind a man can become a Yogi like Gorakh and can attain the highest position. If good deeds are done by controlling the mind, then he can become the creator of himself. 4 Saint Ravidas also emphasized on truth and said that truth The truth is only the Lord. Sadgati can only be achieved through truth He criticized external sadhana which does not include inner devotion.5 Ravidas was a purely emotional but conscientious seeker and devotee. No prejudice or persecution could make them respond and inspire. He has always given preference to acceptance and renunciation based on conscience. 6 Tulsidas has given special emphasis on truth while practicing truth and there is no sin like falsehood.
