Abstract

This paper deals with the study of concentratuion of Nitrogen dioxide and sulphur dioxide , a strong air polluting gas at Varanasi, generated from brick industries. The study was performed at four different sites of Varanasi at monthly intervals. The results indicate that the concentration of NO2 and SO2 is higher than the permissible limit at all the study sites except at control site.
