In terms of population, India holds its second position in the world and approximately 31.2 percent of the population lives in cities and towns. At present, rural people are migrating to cities for their livelihood to industrialization and privatization, whose direct impact is on cleanliness and health. NGOs, international organizations, government schemes and policies are trying to take effective action to deal with this situation. Under this, organizations such as the World Health Organization, WATER, UNICEF are giving their support to strengthen the level of hygiene in India so that our conditions can be better and the creation of a clean and healthy India can be possible. The following suggestions can be made in the implementation of public awareness and 100% sanitation campaign: There should be strict legal action against the use of toilets in open and non-use of toilets in the villages. Drugs like Pan, Gutka, BD, Cigarettes should be banned and it should be provided for the penalty for selling and eating, to prevent physical pollution as well as impact on environment and hygiene. Tree cutting and water boring should be stopped and legal action should be taken against its violation. In the curriculum of education, efforts should be made to bring awareness of cleanliness and environment related to cleanliness and environment through seminars, conference, public awareness programs and posters from time to time. The concept of a clean and healthy society, state and country is in the hands of humans, and we can increase your hand to fulfill it.
