Abstract

Nilgai is the most commonly found wild animals of northern India. It is an antilope belogs to class-mammalia, order. Artiodactyla and family-Boviae. It is commonly known as Blue bull in India because of similar appearance of an ox. It is widely distributed in Northern Part and southern part of Himalayas, Karnatakas, Assam and West Bengal in the east and U.P, Bihar and M.P. are also their suitable place and some are found in Pakistan and Nepal also.
