Importance of Jataka in Human Life

Abstract

The horoscope directs the auspicious or inauspicious events that occur in life from the natal planetary position of the beings. Two types of light objects are seen in the sky showing many things in the nature of the horoscope, in the form of the phaladesh method and in other countries and cultures of the world, and in the systems of good direction. The first ones which appear stable are called constellations. Secondly those who always change their place among the constellations are called planets. Earth rotates from west to east every twenty four hours on its axis, due to which all the planets and constellations rise in the east and go to the west and are seen to be disturbed. But a careful look every day shows that the planets move from west to east, unlike regular celestial bodies traveling. Thus, the path by which the Sun completes one round of the constellation in the year is called ecliptic. The ancient astrologers have called this zodiac sign as twelve parts of this eclipse. In these, some tarapunjas form figures like creatures. The names of the zodiac signs according to the same creatures - Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer (Crab), Leo, Virgo, Libra, (Scales), Brishta (Scorpion), Dhanu (Sagittarius) Makara (Gharial), Kumbha (Pitcher), Pisces ( Fish) have been kept.
