Abstract
Valmiki's Ramayana presents Shri Ram as the Supreme Person and Dhirodatta Nayaka, who is Maryada Purushottam, therefore exemplary and not God himself. The difference between Ramcharitmanas and Valmiki Ramayana lies in their title. Where Ramcharitmanas is the character of Rama, there is a break-up of Ramayana. Rama Ayan i.e. Rama's Journey Ramayana is the story of Rama's life-journey, so in this journey a Purushottam hero's life is also there and along with the rationality, purity, morality and purity of the end, adopt to achieve the end. The means used, too, have a strong insistence on the moral. The character of Shri Ram, the main character of the story of Valmiki Ramayana and the protagonist of the story, is an ideal character of Indian culture and tradition. What is the place of Ram in today's era when why consider him unique. As a man, as a husband, as a friend, as a helpful friend in times of peace and war, as a ruler, no more evidence is needed to prove that When Shri Ram would have been only 25 or 26 years old, at that time neither he had the facility of the state to rule, nor the property to distribute the jagir, nor any state honor, nor wealth to give charity. In the absence of all these resources, at such a young age, he proved himself as the top pride of that era. Anyone who came in contact with Shri Ram could not remain unaffected, whether he was a warrior or a common man, whether he was small or big, a sage, a saint or a sage. Shri Ram was almost equal in age to his brothers but was far ahead of them in terms of high character.
