Eventcraft: College Event Management System

Abstract

The College Event and Management System (CEMS) is a mobile-based application developed using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express, React Native, Node.js) to provide a comprehensive digital solution for managing academic and event activities at educational institutions. An overwhelming majority of traditional methods of college management are done manually, making them resource-intensive, time-consuming, and prone to errors. By using CEMS, students can easily access all services, participate in activities, and receive notifications from anywhere through a single mobile app, while administrators will have the ability to track attendance, generate certificates, and integrate payment processing using Razorpay and Nodemailer. In addition to centralizing all information into one location, this application will help reduce the administrative burden on faculty members by eliminating the need for them to use multiple systems (e.g., email, paper records) to communicate and manage student activities. Thus, CEMS provides a mobile application solution that improves operational efficiencies while providing a centralized platform for managing events and other academic services.
